Your health and safety needs are important to me. I offer an online or telephone consultation prior to your first class /on line/ home visit and a health questionnaire will be completed.
Dress comfortably in leggings or joggers and think layers to ensure you don't get too over heated or feel cold during meditation and relaxation.
On line and home sessions, please select a dining chair without armrests placed on a yoga mat.
You may like to bring a blanket and a cushion along to class or have them handy at home for online/ home appointments.
Adaptive yoga can be practiced in stocking feet if you are seated, but it's best to remove socks when standing.
Its important to keep hydrated during the class. Bring water to class or have your glass of water handy at on line sessions or home appointments.
Phones switched off or on silent during class.

1.5 hour class includes 60 minute yoga class and 30 minute after class refreshment's and chat.
Back care and Wellbeing Programme
The Dru Yoga Back Care and Wellbeing Programme meets the BMJ NICE (National institute for Health and Care Excellence) guidance. The programme was developed over 20 years ago by Dru Senior Yoga Tutors, General Practitioner, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists.
NiCE recommendations states that the vast majority of people, about 90% of those experiencing back pain and sciatica, should be directed towards a movement programme.
This can be alarming for some people as they may believe that moving and exercise with lower back pain and sciatica would not be helpful. In fact it is one of the best things we can do!
joining a Dru back care programme provides you with the tools to help stop the pain from getting worse and provides a faster recovery. The programme is still extremely effective even if your back pain has moved to the chronic stage.

The Calm and Relax coaching programme aims to provide you with a toolkit to help you to achieve optimum health and wellbeing in a natural and simple way.
The programme aims to provide you with a structure to help you to achieve your goals by developing your own personal
Calm and Relax plan. The programme which incorporates daily rituals, movement, breath work, meditation and relaxation as well as first aid techniques to use anywhere, any time to help you through stressful situations.
